ORIGIN OF GROBIS NAME
My full name is actually RAMINAGROBIS. But since this name is quite long, I was always called 'GROBIS' instead.
There is a nice history to the 'Raminagrobis' name. It is the name of a cat in a fable by Jean de La Fontaine, a French fabulist.
The French version of that fable is titled LE CHAT, LA BELETTE ET LE PETIT LAPIN. It was published in 1678, in Livre VII, as number XII.
But it's not La Fontaine who created the cat name 'Raminagrobis' - he borrowed it from a French writer from the Renaissance, François Rabelais.

La Fontaine got inspired by AESOP for this fable, and for many others he published. Aesop was a Greek fabulist who lived more than 2,500 years ago.
The English title of that fable is The Cat, the Weasel and the Young Rabbit. A translation from La Fontaine's fable was done by Elizur Wright and first published in Boston in 1841. It can be seen here.
